TEHRAN – A promotional film directed by Masud Farjam for the acclaimed Iranian drama “Oblivion Season” was crowned the best trailer of May at The Monthly Film Festival (TMFF) that is held online in Glasgow, United Kingdom. 

“Assistant” by Jungjae Hur from South Korea won the award for best film of the month, the organizers announced.

Founded in February 2015, the TMFF is an online festival of short and feature films, trailers and screenplays, which are assessed by judges who all work in the film industry.

Directed by Abbas Rafei, “Oblivion Season” is about Fariba, an ex-prostitute who starts a new life by marrying her lover but leaving the shadow of her dark past turns out not to be as easy as it had seemed beforehand.

The film has enjoyed much success at several international events.
